Is my data private?

Yes. Everything you enter — names, hours, tips — stays on your device. We don't have accounts or servers. See our Privacy Policy.

How are tips split?

By role weight, hours, hours × role, or an even split. Cash and card are split separately, and the shares always add up to the total — down to the penny.

Why are managers excluded from the pool?

Under the FLSA (§3(m)), managers and supervisors generally can't share in a tip pool. TipHive keeps them out automatically when you mark a role "No tips."
